I am way behind on all that I have wanted to post about. Summer has taken over and any spare second I have with the kids, we are outside playing in the yard or at the pool.
Alan and I celebrated our 9th anniversary last month. Since we were getting ready to leave for a wedding without the kids, we decided to celebrate our anniversary with the kids. It was so much fun that I think this might be our new tradition.
We planned a "fancy" dinner, wore dresses, set the table and Alan even escorted the girls to the table. The girls asked all day if it was time for the "party."
These are the hydrangeas we cut from the yard.
Alan came home with a bouquet of flowers for everyone.
Do you have a special way that you celebrate your anniversary? With or without kids?
I remember your beautiful wedding like it was YESTERDAY (pardon the cliche) and can't believe it has been 9 years. It was such a fun weekend. Steve was particularly fond of the fact that you provided beer on the bus from the wedding to the reception, but I just loved all of it. Congratulations -- you guys are doing it right :).
